About Simmer
Beta text. Simmer is in a public beta, and this page will be reviewed and updated before the full launch.
Simmer is a daily word game. Everyone gets the same secret English word each day, and every guess gets a temperature: the closer its meaning, the hotter it is, up to 100 °C for the word itself.
How the temperatures work
Each puzzle is prepared before its day. Word meanings come from word vectors, and the ranking of related words was checked with an AI model (Claude by Anthropic) while preparing the puzzle. Your guesses are scored on our server and are never sent to an AI model.
